We had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well-appointed, there were lots of sleeping options, and there were many different shared gathering spaces, indoors and out. This is a VERY spacious house with a friendly and responsive host.

This was a great spot for our family get together over a long weekend. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for cooking and hanging out together. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with equipment. The outdoor space was also great for the dogs. We thought the location of the house was very peaceful and conveniently located near Great Barrington. I think we’ll be back!

The house is amazing! Pictures don’t show just how wonderful the space is. Large but plenty of spaces inside and out to relax, even with a full house. James was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would come back again in an instant.

We had a truly excellent time here—really the best Airbnb experience we have had in sometime. It was lovely a space that was clearly very well thought out. There was more than enough space for our two families (4 adults and 4 children total), especially in the summer (there are at least three outdoor seating areas, including an amazing screened in porch!) The kitchen was spacious, well stocked, and well labeled and there was a dining table big enough to seat all of us at once and even a nearby sitting area where the kids could play while we cooked. Hosts were responsive + gracious. All around lovely experience!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house is even more beautiful in real life. Clean and comfy! A wide amount of items were left for us to use, including a stocked kitchen. Great for our big family, including children. James was super helpful and responsive throughout our time there. Would love to visit again.

Fantastic house and stay. Lots of space to spread out. Very gracious hosts! Everything we needed was there and more! Very clean. Fantastic location. Very close to Butternut. Close to all surrounding sights and towns.

We loved our stay at James’s Berkshire Basecamp. The house has a great layout and the kitchen was fantastic. The labeling of all the drawers in the kitchen, with everything you could need, made cooking a breeze while working in a new setting. It’s location to Butternut Mountain made for quick trips back and forth. Lots of nice little touches throughout as well. Communication was quick and thorough as well. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to Butternut and the Berkshires.
